The Australian Casino Gambling Regulator (ACGR) has outlined its bold vision and priorities for the future in its Terms of Reference, published by the NSW Independent Casino Commission (NICC).
The Terms of Reference detail how casino regulators from each state and territory can further engage with each other to discuss industry challenges and share best practice.
The ACGR was established in 2023 to provide a platform for improved information sharing and provide a more consistent approach to regulating the casino industry.
It aims to drive significant and strategic reform, apply consistent and co-ordinated national leadership, enhance the reputation and strengthen public confidence in the casino industry.
The ACGR is comprised of the chief executives or commissioners from the agencies responsible for the regulation of casinos in each state and territory.
